Product Description Construction: The PHLite Cantilever Sliding Gate is made entirely of aluminium. It is available with a plain upper beam, sharks teeth or protruding infil tubing. It has a patented built in tensioning system with no increase in gate wing length. It is supplied with pre-cast concrete base plinth for post bridges and designed for off the shelf motorisation systems. The absence of intermediate cross rails and security toppings make this gate difficult to climb over. The distance between vertical bars is 120mm. The post bridges are manufactured from steel box section, hot dip galvanised and (if required) powder coated to match the gate.

The Aluminium construction allows for the guiding post and closing post bridges to be installed using pre-cast concrete base plinths, leading to substantial savings on installation costs. The gate runs on two pairs of hard wearing synthetic wheels, with double bearings. The running surface of the wheels is concave ensuring that the wheels self-centre on durable, replaceable wear strips. This means the gate is always perfectly aligned, resulting in very light running. | |||||||
